My detailed age rating: You will see the above format on the upper part of every review page that is rated 10-. This expands on the recommended age button in the upper right, and gives you more specific detail.

Content-wise: This tells you what age the game's overall content is approriate for, which means even if the difficulty gets a higher rating, a younger kid could still play elements of the game. Just don't expect them to beat the entire game.

Difficulty-wise: This means the difficulty in this game is suited best to the age group I recommend, meaning this age will have an easier time in playing and completing the game control/complexity and length-wise.

Fun for: If I say "Kids" it means that the game is really only appealing to kids; parents or adults won't get much out of playing it. If I say "Kids & Adults" it means kids and adults will enjoy most aspects of the game equally.

The round recommended age button pictured in the upper part of this page, gives you a quick glance regarding what I think the game is suited for age-wise, and will be the only age rating present for any game I rate 13+. Each of the buttons are linked to this page, so click on them for fast reference on these descriptions.

Ages 6 & under: This means content and difficulty-wise I think it's playable for ages between 3 & 6. It also means anyone over that age will probably be "underwhelmed" with the game.

Ages 7+: This means difficulty-wise, I think it's appropriate for ages 7+. However, it does not always mean it isn't appropriate content-wise for younger ages, so be sure to check the closing comment at the end of each review for clarification.

Ages 10+: This means difficulty-wise, I think it's appropriate for ages 10+. However, it does not always mean it isn't appropriate content-wise for younger ages, so be sure to check the closing comment at the end of each review for clarification.

Ages 13+: This means content and difficulty-wise I think it's appropriate for ages 13+. However, sometimes I may approve it for ages 10+, for certain gameplay elements, so be sure to check the closing comment at the end of each review for clarification.

Ages 14+: This means content and difficulty-wise I think it's only appropriate for ages 14+. So, I will almost never recommend it for a younger age group.

Ages 17+: This means content and difficulty-wise I think it's only appropriate for ages 17+. So, I will never recommend it for a younger age group.

Ages mix: This means that some elements and/or modes of the game are suited toward different age groups. This rating will be very rarely used, but when it is, be sure to check the closing comment at the end of the review for full details.
