Blood: There is a moderate amount of blood splatter when you shoot or stab an enemy. Blood also stains walls, floors, and clothes. There are also many dead bodies of civilians, workers and enemy soldiers scattered throughout the game. Some of these bodies are severely burned or damaged, but the majority are fully intact and unbloodied. You also see many of these civilian workers being throw off buildings, shot, etc. by the enemy. There is no option to turn blood off.

Specific scenes of blood:

One CG scene shows the main character come upon a dead and heavily damaged human body. It's lying in a large pool of its own blood, and the back of its skull is partially missing, exposing part of its brain. Although, this scene is very brief.

A very short scene shows a Russian soldier interrogating a fellow U.N. soldier. The enemy soldier proceeds to slap your ally multiple times in the face, resulting in his blood splattering in somewhat oversized, exaggerated blood droplets. Later, in the same level, you see Russian soldiers execute two of your allies by shooting them in the head, with appropriate blood effects in play.

Later in the game there is a brief CG cutscene that shows the main character grab an enemy by the neck and stab him in the side of the throat, with blood spurting from the wound, and appropriate sound effects with the man gurgling/choking on his own blood.

Near the end of the last level you enter a room with an active "Centrifuge," which is a device scientists use to test gravity on the human body. It is affixed in the middle of the room, and spins in circles like a huge pendulum over and over. If you shove an enemy in the path of the device, you will see as it violently smashes him, resulting in his blood splattering, and you hearing a sickening crunching/squishing sound as they make impact.

In one of the last CG cutscenes, the main character drags the last boss toward the tracks. As the train is coming their way he throws the boss into the oncoming train, as you see the bloody impact. After the train has passed you see the body with its blood smeared heavily on it and the ground.

Intense violence: The violence is similar to that of Mission Impossible with a slight twing of Splinter Cell, and has an overall mixed feel of covert ops and war, and as such, it has plenty of explosions, killing, and action. The violence isn't the most graphic of games of its kind, it's just very suspenseful and intense.

Your enemies range from mercenaries to a private military. You will be killing dozens of enemies with a variety of weapons like a stealth pistol, machine gun, sniper rifle, grenades, a knife, etc. You also have the option of using your bare hands, and if you sneak up on an enemy, it will result in you grabbing the enemy's neck and breaking it with an appropriately sickening crunching sound. If you use a knife while you are not detected, you will sneak up on the enemy and stab him in the side of the throat, and then yank it out, killing him. If you use it when you've been detected, you'll run up and stab the enemy in the stomach. Last but not least, you have the option to use a taser. If you use it, it will stun enemies only for a few seconds, and if you expose them to it long enough, they will explode into flames. However, you are given very little opportunity to use the hands, knife and taser, and if you do, you're liable to get killed.

There is also the option of sometimes using the environment to damage the enemy, in the form of flammable and electrified objects. If you shoot a barrel, truck or any other explodable device, it will detonate and set enemies in the vicinity ablaze. They will scream in varied tones of obvious pain while being burned alive. If you use electricity they will fry and shake until they drop to the ground dead (although this technique can only be used a couple of times). Also worth mentioning, is that if an enemy is injured, they will drop their gun and try to slowly limp/drag to safety, only to be gunned down by you.

Specific scene of intense violence:

A brief scene shows a very confused and panicked woman run into the middle of a gun fight between the main character and the enemy. The enemy then shoots her down without a second thought. The main character then gets very angry because of this, and then quickly shoots the offenders both in the head (no blood or gore).
