Mild blood: There is no red-colored or apparent blood in this game. I believe what is considered blood is particle effect, ranging from sparks/flashes of light to smoke and mist; like the enemies in this game called "Heartless" who dissolve into black and purple puffs of smoke. Other than that there isn't much to report. Very mild stuff.
Use of alcohol: I couldn't find much of this in the game. They could be reffering to one of the Disney worlds, Pirates of the Caribbean, there might be light reference to use of alcohol by pirates. Also an ally in the game, from Final Fantasy X, has a jug hanging from his hip. It is possible that it contains sake, a japanese alcohol. Not much more to add than that. Extremely mild.
Violence: Take one part Disney animation, and one part Final Fantasy mythology, and you have Kingdom Hearts. The violence never exceeds that of original source material, that is; the world and story of Mulan remains the same, and so on. If you let your kids watch Disney movies, then you will be fine with this game. Though unlike the first game, this does have a overall storyline that is more intense and mature. But not enough to give it a more extreme rating.
Closing comment: This game is a bit more mature than the first in the series, and somewhat more difficult. Unlike the last game this is rated "E10+", whereas the last game was rated "E". I agree and recommend this game for ages 10+.
