Content review for this game:

Blood: There are absolutely no blood effects in gameplay or combat whatsoever. However, in one area, there is a bloody handprint on a metal door, and as you progress inside, there is a trail of blood leading to a control panel, with another bloody handprint. But that's the extent of blood effects. Very mild.
Also, something that could be considered gross is that one of the main villians is a large, green, grotesque blob, who lightly resembles the human he once was. He also has several cords and wires attacked to several parts of his back and shoulders.
Strong language: They weren't kidding (the ESRB). There are 16 uses of h**l, 6 uses of d**n, 11 uses of s**t, 2 uses of p**s, 1 uses of a**, 1 use of b****rd, and, 3 uses of the f-word. There are also 14 misuses of God, 5 misuses of Jesus, and 1 misuse of Jesus Christ.
Other than the language listed above, there is one scene where the main female character asks a sleazy renter for information about her missing boyfriend. In this scene the sleazy renter uses the most language in the game, and it's only about 2 minutes long. But in those two minutes, he manages to use s**t 4 times, h**l 2 times, sc**w 1 time, and the f-word 12 times. He also misuses Jesus and Jesus Christ 3 times. After his little speech, the main female character is offended, and says as much, at one point even slapping him in the face, which causes him to curse more.
You can enable subtitles, and when enabled it will show all used curse words in the subtitles, including the f-word. However, you can skip full lines of dialog at anytime with the B button. But, since the language is scattered throughout dialog, you would have to skip most of the important conversation, rendering the story useless (which is all the game is made of). Also worth mentioning is that all three main playable characters never use the f-word.
Suggestive themes: At the very beginning of the game, the main female character is introduced in a skimpy lowcut tank-top and panties, as she is lounging in her room. She wears this for the first 10 minutes of the game before changing (which you don't see) into something more suitable. However, once you gain control of her, you can go to the closet and change immediately. Later in the game, the same female character has a couple of playable visions, where she is wearing a white version of the outfit listed above. Also, many of the female characters wear somewhat revealing and/or form fitting clothing. But, the main female character's outfit described above is the extent of immodest clothing.
In one area, while playing as the main female character, you explore her boyfriend's apartment. If you inspect the bed, she will say, "I've spent a lot of nights in that bed. It's comfy and...bouncy." Obviously meaning she's slept with him regularly in the past.
There is an enemy character that can experience other people's dreams. In a later scene, he tells the main female character how he saw her in her boyfriend's dream, "You where naked, writhing, alive. Sweating. Moaning. I enjoyed that. It made me haaa." He does this in an obvious attempt to taunt her.
A brief scene shows a side character who is an immortal, glowing blue entity in the form of a naked man. But, all you see is what I'd call a Ken doll build. Meaning you see the overall shape of his body, but there isn't any explicit detail (as in he has no private parts).
Violence: The story has an overall mystic/fantasy feel, with a twing of thriller/horror. It's revolves around a young woman who doesn't know what to do with her life until the decision is taken out of her hands, as some very strange things start to happen, wisking her into the unknown. I will try to keep the details on the story vague, as this game is pretty much made up of it, and is worthwhile to experience on your own.
This is first and foremost an adventure game, which means you will mostly be spending your time conversing, exploring, and solving puzzles, not combating. The fighting that is present is mild and set well apart from most of the game...
