Note: This game has the same overall storyline as the 360/PS3 version of the game. But is developed by the team who did Splinter Cell and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and has completely different levels, cutscenes, graphics engine, and more traditional Splinter Cell gameplay.

Blood: There is no bloodshed when you shoot or stab an enemy in gameplay. However, one scene shows the main character slash an enemy's throat, resulting in some splattered blood, although the victim is wearing a full wet suit with a mask, so there isn't much detail. Also, another brief scene shows an interrogation room with blood stains on the floor and walls.

Language: There are over 8 uses of h**l, 7 uses of d**n, 2 uses of a**, 3 uses of b****rd, 1 use of bulls**t and 1 misuse of God. Also, enemies will say, "S**t! what was that!?" when they suspect something, or "D**n it! Man down!" when they discover a body, or "Put the God d**n gun down!" when you are holding one of their cohorts. Last but not least, if they discover you they will say things like "Die in h**l!!" while shooting you. Also worth mentioning is at one point in the game a villian in a fit of rage states, "I will skin him alive! I will feed him his own balls!!" referring to his unlucky subordinate.

Violence: The story is more personal and intense than the previous games. The main character's daughter is killed, so in his grief, he takes the most dangerous mission available. He goes undercover as a criminal and infiltrates an American terrorist ring. There he must gather intel and eventually put a stop to their plans. Throughout the game there are several key moral choices, where you are given the option to make the good or bad choice. If you do the bad thing, your trust meter will fill up for the terrorists and if you do the good thing visa-versa.

This game is about stealth, so the objective is to not get caught. Your character is equipped with a couple of guns and a combat knife. You have the choice to choke or knock your enemies out unconscious with the left trigger, or kill your enemies with the right, which will have your main character either stab the enemy in the stomach, throat, back, slash the throat, snap the neck, or in some instances throw the enemy over ledges and pull them through thin ice. But you almost always have a choice, and some of these can get pretty tough. Here are most of them listed below:

#1: In the first level you are posing undercover as a prisoner. one of your cell mates wants you to kill another prisoner who has been giving him a hard time. You have the choice to kill him, or let him live so that the good guys can use him as a witness after the planned prison riot.

#2: You find out that one of the terrorists is trying to take the place of the current terrorist boss. You can either tell the boss, resulting in him immediately killing the offender or letting the good guys extract him for valuable information.

#3: One level's objective is to steal money from an underground train. The terrorists want you to kill everyone you come across, including innocent civilians. The good good guys want the exact opposite.

#4: Later in the same level, you are given the choice to either kill the station chief after obtaining the code, or let him live. Also, once you are on the train, you have the option to detatch the passenger cars so no civilians will be harmed.

#5: The terrorists give you the objective to plant a bomb on a cruise ship. If you let the bomb detonate, thousands of innocent people will die in the explosion. If you don't, the terrorist boss will rough you and the main female terrorist (who accompanied you on the mission) up a little bit.

#6: The terrorists want you to kill a fellow agent by planting a bomb in his car. The good guys want you to extract him to safety. When you come across him in a locker room, you can either save and escort him to an exit, which will result in him giving you a special healing item, or you can shoot him when you first meet him there. Saving him is quite a bit more challenging.
