Content review for this game:

Blood: Most of your encounters with the enemy are medium to long range, so it's hard to really see them in any full-on detail. When you use your scope for shooting (which you will be doing a lot), you will see a tiny, almost negligible amount of blood shed from the enemy (and sometimes you won't). Also worth mentioning is that after you kill an enemy, their bodies do linger.
Language: There are 5 uses of d**n, 3 uses of h**l, 2 uses of b***rd, and 1 misuse of God. Other than the scripted scenes, fellow soldiers will also use language like d**n and h**l very lightly throughout gameplay.
Violence: If I had to choose between a war movie and chess to explain the style of violence in this game, I would lean heavily towards chess. In gameplay, an interface is present around your screen, representing what your character sees in his helmet's visor like; in the upper right corner of the screen, a video feed of your commanding officers pops into view to give you the next objective. Also, when you aim at the enemy, there is a large, red diamond that encompasses their whole body for better aim, and you're equipped with a digital map with the layout of each level where you can send your men in real-time or plan your next move.
In other words, it's not near graphic or gratuitous, not to say that it isn't intense, because it is. It's just more virtual and tactical than super realistic. Also one of the main gameplay elements has your character commanding three soldiers throughout the game. The interface is very simple, but strategic. You also have the responsibility of keeping your men alive, and if they are injured, it's your duty to run over to where they are and heal them. That's really all there is to explain. It's a very mild war game in pretty much every area.
Specific scene of violence:
One level's objective is to save and extract fellow soldiers who are penned down by enemy fire. When you reach the scene you see that all of your men are dead, save for one, who is heavily injured (and soon dies after giving you the information on what happened). This scene has no blood or gore.
Mild suggestive themes: The ESRB didn't mention this in their rating, though it is extremely mild. There are a few posters of women with slightly revealing clothes on, like some mild bathing suits, scattered throughout the game. But, there's nothing other than that. Again, extremely mild.
Closing comment: This is a great, tactical shooter, and is just a very well done game all around. Content-wise, as I said above, this is one of the most mild war themed games you can get, and if it weren't for the lightly used language and overall difficulty, I would give it a lower age rating. But since it does, and the gameplay could bore younger kids anyway, I recommend this game for ages 13+.
